This handsome Carl Schumacher designed 77 foot custom carbon performance sloop was built by NORTHERN MARINE LLC in Seattle in 2002. She is a comfortable and capable cruiser easily sailed by 2 with accommodations for 8. With a fin keel and bulb, and carbon composite rudder, her hull is constructed of 5 outside plies of carbon fiber, 1 inch balsa core, 4 inside carbon plies, with a balance of cold molded cedar final interior skin and integral laminated carbon fiber unidirectional chainplates. The deck is a carbon fiber and balsa core sandwich with teak overlay. Cascadia is a 7/8 rigged fractional sloop with and inner forestay and running back check stays. Twin wheel in a large open aft cockpit. The deck layout has a trunk cabin forward with the pilot house aft. Her beautiful interior styling is traditional with Madrona wood veneers chosen from 4 trees and matched for each cabin. All trim is solid Madrona. She is powered by a Yanmar4LHA-DJE 165 hp four cylinder diesel engine with shaft drive. Cascadia has always been maintained to the highest standard by her full time professional crew.
